The few cookies here, and how to refuse them.
Which cookies this website and the services it links to may set on your device, what each one does and how to say no.
Example text for the Facework template, written for Facework Aesthetics, an invented nurse-led med spa in Austin, Texas. It is a starting point, not legal or medical advice: have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and checked against your medical director, your state’s rules, your insurer and the tools you use, before you publish.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so it can recognize it on the next page or the next visit. This policy treats local storage and similar browser tools the same way as cookies.
2. Necessary cookies
A few technical cookies and storage entries let pages load quickly, remember that you have already seen the opening animation during your visit and send the Ask a nurse form. They hold nothing about your health, and the site cannot work properly without them.
3. Visit statistics
The site is built and hosted with Framer, whose analytics count page views, devices and referring pages so we know which treatment pages people read. We see totals and cannot identify one visitor.
If analytics that use cookies are added to this site, a consent banner will ask before they run, and this page will say so.
4. Booking, maps and social links
The Book a consult, Book this, Get directions and Instagram links open outside websites. Any cookies on those pages belong to those services and are covered by their own cookie policies, not this one. Nothing from them loads on this site until you click.
5. No advertising
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, we don’t let advertisers follow you on this site and we never sell information about your visits. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
6. How to refuse or delete them
Your browser settings let you see, block and delete cookies at any time, and tools such as Global Privacy Control can signal that you opt out of tracking. Treatment pages, prices and the Visit page work the same without optional cookies.
7. How long they last, and changes
Necessary cookies last for your visit or up to a year. Visit statistics are kept by Framer for the period set in its terms. When a service that sets cookies is added or removed, this page and its date change.
Questions about cookies: write to us from the Visit page.
