How the site works, and how booking works.
What you agree to when you read this website, look at its prices and photos, or follow a link to book a consult.
Example text for the Facework template, written for Facework Aesthetics, an invented nurse-led med spa in Austin, Texas. It is a starting point, not legal or medical advice: have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and checked against your medical director, your state’s rules, your insurer and the tools you use, before you publish.
1. Who publishes this site
This website is published by Facework Aesthetics, a nurse-led med spa in East Austin, Texas. Treatments are performed by licensed nurses and nurse practitioners led by our director of nursing, Marisol Ibarra, NP, under the delegation and supervision of a licensed physician.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.
2. Information, not individual advice
The treatment pages, face map, journal articles and answers on this site are general information. They are not advice about your own face or health, which you only get in an in-person consultation. The Medical Disclaimer explains this in full.
3. Prices, durations and photos are examples
Prices on this site are shown in US dollars as “from” prices and marked as samples. Your price depends on the amount of product, the number of sessions and the plan agreed at your consultation, and is confirmed before any treatment begins.
Chair times, recovery times, how soon results show and how long they last are typical ranges, not promises. Photos marked “Sample” are illustrations, not results of a particular patient.
4. Booking and deposits
Booking happens in an outside booking tool, under its own terms. A deposit may be taken when you book a treatment; the booking page shows the amount before you confirm.
Booking a time is not a promise of treatment. A nurse may decide at your consultation that a treatment isn’t right for you, or isn’t right today, in which case any deposit for that treatment is refunded or moved to another visit.
5. Cancellations and missed appointments
You can move or cancel an appointment at no charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Later changes and missed appointments may forfeit the deposit. The cancellation policy shown in the booking tool when you book is the one that applies to that appointment.
If we have to cancel, you choose between a new time and a full refund of your deposit.
6. Using the website
You may browse the site and share its pages for your own, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse it: no attempts to break its security, overload it, collect data from it with automated tools or use it for anything unlawful.
We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.
7. Words, photos and names
The text, photos, illustrations, face map and logo on this site belong to Facework Aesthetics or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them.
Product names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their owners. Their mention does not mean that a manufacturer endorses this site or the practice.
8. Links to other websites
Links to the booking tool, maps, social networks and other sites are there for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
9. Our responsibility
We take care to keep the site accurate and working, but it may sometimes be out of date or unavailable, and it is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by relying on general information on the site instead of the advice given to you in a consultation.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, and nothing here changes the care and consent terms you agree to as a patient.
10. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about the site is heard by the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
When these terms change, this page and its date change with them. The version shown when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
