Lip flip

A tiny dose of neuromodulator just above the upper lip, so it rolls out a little instead of tucking in when you smile.

How it goes

Results vary. Treatments are performed after an in-person consultation.

How it works

There’s no filler in a lip flip. Four to six units of neuromodulator relax the edge of the muscle around the mouth, so the upper lip shows a bit more when you smile. It holds for a shorter time than other zones because the muscle works all day. Results vary.

What the day looks like

Ten minutes and four small points. For the first few days, drinking through a straw or saying a word with a strong P or B can feel slightly different.

Aftercare

Stay upright for 4 hours and don’t massage the lip. Skip the trumpet lesson for a week. We’d see you again around week 10 if you’d like to keep it.

Who it’s not for

If your job or hobby depends on your mouth (singers, wind players, people who whistle for a living), talk it through with your nurse first. Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
